Today we received notification that we have met the requirements for the annual renewal of our “Safety Management Advisory Services” (SMAS) accreditation as part of the government driven, HSE supported “Safety Schemes In Procurement” programme.
Though we do not need the certification in the same way as a contractor bidding for work to prove competency to the engaging company – The procedures and practices that we must demonstrate to attain certification demonstrates the commitment we have to maintaining high standards of health and safety on an on-going basis within our organisation and aligns us with the contractors that we engage that hold the same or similar accreditation.
