    The homes at Red House Gardens provided spacious living over two floors with plenty of room to accommodate growing families and entertain guests.     The Location, Bishop Monkton

    Bishop Monkton is served by a number of excellent schools. Bishop Monkton Church of England Primary School and Boroughbridge High School are both rated Good by Ofsted whilst Ripon Grammar school is rated Outstanding and has been named as ‘Top state school in the North’ by The Sunday Times. Nearby independent schools include Belmont Grosvenor School and Highfield Prep School. Located on the doorstep of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bishop Monkton is also a short drive from the breath-taking scenery of two National Parks, the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors.

Bishop Monkton is situated within 15 minutes drive of Knaresborough, the historic market town known for its iconic railway viaduct which crosses the Nidd Gorge to form one of Yorkshire’s most recognisable vistas, best viewed from the elevated position of the ancient castle which overlooks the cliffs. Knaresborough is an easy place to find relaxation with a variety of eateries including cafes, delis, restaurants, and bistros.
